Here it is: our updated list of beginner-friendly Kdramas for 2021! Take note that not all of these dramas are new-ish (late 2020 to early 2021) because we prioritized including dramas we thought more kdrama fans would love, especially those who are just starting to get into the genre. We've included a lot of light and fluffy rom-coms, some melodramas, historical dramas aka sageuks, and even a crime thriller.



From the mega hit of 2020 "Crash Landing on You" to the fantastical "My Love from Another Star", there's a little bit of something for everyone here. Apologies in advance: I "cheated" in including the whole body of work of one particular screenwriter (but promise, its a worthy inclusion!).
