ABOUT THE EPISODE

Today is the second part of a 3-part series discussing shame and the journey of healing our shame with God. We discuss the spaces Father leads us through in our healing and how He awakens us to what it is that He wants us to bring to Him, and start to examine the stories we've made up about the experiences we've had.

Today we continue the discussion and share how we started to catch the negative thoughts and stories we've made up, what it looked like to release it to God so He can start to replace it with His truth. We also share how forgiveness of ourselves, of others, and of God plays a huge role on the path to freedom and healing from our shame.

These episodes are rooted in Genesis 3:10-11: He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.” And he said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?” (NIV)

This episode's intention is to have you explore your beliefs and invites you to start asking where they came from. Who told you the stories and things you believe about yourself, your life, others, and even God? And are these stories rooted in God's truth?
