Jamie Sia was enjoying a successful career in IT when redundancy led him to think again about his work. With just 6 months to make it work, he set out on a journey to build his photography business balancing his ambitions with the needs of his young family.

In 2017, with a growing business and two young children, he realised that he needed to move the business out of the home. Unable to find a suitable space he joined forces with fellow photographer Tim Dunk to set up The Light Space Collective: Leeds.
