The Get It Girl Show is excited to bring our listeners another Startup Maven interview with Lara Gabrielsen owner and photographer of Exhilaration Photography in Scottsdale, Arizona! Along with following WineBlock this season we are bringing in entrepreneurs and startup mavens from all walks of life to the show to share their unique perspective.

Her style is romantic, whimsical and personal. As a student at Norther Arizona University Lara studied Communications and Photography and started planning her future business. The Get It Girl Show was impressed and inspired by Lara's dedication to planning her brand and her business while still in college! This Startup Maven has a strong, smart and creative head on her shoulders.

We talk about the initiative and drive it takes to start your own business and how Lara breaks through the competitive nature of wedding photography in Arizona. While Lara finished up her education at NAU she immediately recognized the importance of creating a strong brand voice and tone. As part of the ongoing conversation between The Get It Girl Show and our guests we discuss the importance of a strong support network of friends, peers and family that support you as an entrepreneur.

Lara also gets personal with us and talks about how it is important to her to be authentic and real with her clients, potential clients and followers. She recently revealed that she is in a serious relationship with her girlfriend Malia (who is lovely as well). Showcasing her personal life and real self was transparent and likely nerve wracking but her core clients and potential clients know love has no boundaries and she feels being transparent is a key element of her brand and working with her clients.

Lara knew that the face of her business would be shown from her instagram account. She is dedicated to being transparent and helpful through her photography and tips she gives back to her audience!
