David Marion and Dana Golden are ex-spouses and the co-authors of, Addiction Rescue; The NO-BS Guide to Recovery. David, having lived through multiple addictions, among them, opioids and gambling, lost everything from his family to his multi-million dollar brokerage firm to five years of his life in federal prison all due his addictions. He is now a nationally recognized Public Speaker, Certified Intervention Professional and Certified Recovery Coach. He has worked with PBS with the Hold On To Hope documentary and the CDC on their RX Awareness Campaign, which has won several awards, including an Emmy.

Dana lived the other side of addiction; navigating through the wreckage David caused her and their two daughters as she kept wellness and balance in a home with active addiction. She is now a Certified Family Addiction Coach and Certified Recovery Coach. They are passionate about spreading their message of hope, healing and inspiration in working with the families affected by Substance Use Disorder.
