Episode Description

As a result of COVID-19, our world looks different. Your brain (and your student’s brain) have been impacted by the stress of this experience. This webinar will introduce brain-based concepts like the impact of stress on the brain and body, how to build resilience in stressful experiences, and how to support yourself and your student with tools during remote learning and beyond.

Our guest speaker in this webinar is Abby Lyons, a Social Emotional Learning Coach in Bloomington-Normal, Illinois. In this role, Abby uses a mindful approach to share Social Emotional Learning and brain-based information with kids and adults.
