### Polly
I've been sick all week. I had my second COVID vaccine the Friday before last. No sooner did I feel better from that, I came down with some nasty crud. Therefore, I haven't done Children's Week, and I'm pretty sure that I won't finish School of Hard Knocks by the end of the WoW week.

We are also getting ready to move across the country. I'm not sure how we are going to handle episodes while we are in the process but, I will do my best to keep the episode popping out on a fortnightly basis even if we have to prerecord. So for now we are going to take out the News segment of the podcast and I may record the Question of the Episodes seperately. We are also going to be trimming down the Calendar segment unless there are non-recurring events for that episode.

## Zone: Northern Stranglethorn
### Lore Bite:
Northern Stranglethorn was separated from the Cape of Stranglethorn during The Shattering of Deathwing.

I remember the first time I crossed into Stranglethorn from Duskwood and it was just a completely different look from the other zones I had been in. While there were some quests that were a little painful to do back in pre-Cata, they've really streamlined them since then, including the removal of Green Hills of Stranglethorn, which has been replaced by a single page for Hemet Nesingwary.

* To get this pet you're going to go to Stormwind Harbor /way 25, 29 and pick up the quests from Bwemba.
* Next travel to Fort Livingston in Northern Stranglethorn Vale to meet the Darkspear Emissary.
* From there, there is a quest chain that will get to the quest 'Some Good Will Come' which will award you with the Panther Cub.
* Horde:
* Talk to Bwemba in Orgrimmar in the Valley of Spirits /way 32 68.
* She will have you go to Bambala in Northern Stranglethorn.
* From there you continue the quest chain which will award you with the Panther Cub.
* When you are tracking the panther make sure you follow the smoke plumes. The camp where you find and kill Mauti at /way 77 69.

## Zone: Cape of Stranglethorn
### Lore Bite:
The cape is separated from Northern Stranglethorn by a whirpool called the Sundering which was caused by Deathwing's Cataclysm. The Sundering whirlpool is not to be confused with The Great Sundering which shattered the continents making Kalimdor, Northrend, Pandaria, Eastern Kingdoms, as well as Kezan, Kul Tiras, Zandalar and the Broken Isles.

Short John Mithrill will place a chest in the middle of the arena. You will be flagged for open PvP against both factions while in the arena.
* [Gurubashi Arena Grand Master](https://www.wowhead.com/achievement=396/gurubashi-arena-grand-master) - Complete Short John Mithrils's quest to obtain the Arena Grand Master trinket - You'll have to loot the Furubashi Arena chest 12 times to complete this.
* [Master Angler of Azeroth](https://www.wowhead.com/achievement=306/master-angler-of-azeroth) - Every Sunday at 2pm server there is a fishing tournament in all of Stranglethorn Vale. The first 50 players that turn in 40 Speckled Tastyfish will win. I have yet to win it, but common advice given is to set your hearth stone to Booty Bay so you can turn in is quicker. (pause for polly) Then just make sure you fish in areas that aren't over crowded. This fish shows up in any fishing school in both Northern Stranglethorn and the Cape of Stranglethorn. The first 3 to hand it in get their choice of prizes.
* [One That Didn't Get Away](https://www.wowhead.com/achievement=878/one-that-didnt-get-away#) - While you're doing the Booty Bay Fishing Tournament you should try to fish up the Rockhide Strongfish. (Pause for Polly and banter) 1h mace
* [The Old Gnome and the Sea](https://www.wowhead.com/achievement=153/the-old-gnome-and-the-sea) - Successfully fish from a school - You'll get this achievement while you are fishing from the fishing schools for the fishing trounament.
* [Avast Ye, Admiral!](https://www.wowhead.com/achievement=871/avast-ye-admiral) - Feat of Strength
* To get this achievement you're going to have to kill Booty Bay NPCs. This will tank your reputation with the Steamwheedle Cartel: Booty Bay, Everlook, Gadgetzan, and Ratchet.
* You can also go to Faldir's Cove in Arathi Highlands to kill goblins there. That will help boost your Bloodsail Reputation.
* To get your goblin reputation back I recommend killing Pirates in Tanaris otherwise Goblins in the goblin cities like Gadgetzan and Booty Bay will attack you relentlessly. Ask me how I know.
* You can also kill pirates in Venture Bay in Grizzley Hills as it increases your reputation with the Booty Bay, Everlook, Gadgetzan, and Ratchet but it doesn't decrease your reputation with Bloodsail Buccaneers.
* This will get you started on your the Insane title, which will require Honored with Bloodsail Buccaneers, and Exalted with all four Steamwheddle Cartel reps, Darkmoon Faire, and Ravenholdt. We will be covering the other reputations later but, if you're following along with the podcast you will have 5 done for now. To get the insane title you don't need to have all the reps at exalted at the same time. You just have to have the reps and corresponding Achievements at some point.

## Zone: Booty Bay
### Lore Bite:
A pirate city on the southern tip of the Cape of Stranglethorn. The city used to be known as Blackwater Cove but was overrun by jungle trolls. Eventually goblins of the Steamwheedle Cartel drove out the trolls to make a new hub for their trade operations Booty Bay.
