I grew up indoctrinated in an evangelical fundamentalist christian megachurch. So how did I escape?
The more I learn about how the evangelical christian church in the United States operates, the more I commend myself and others for getting the hell out of there. But the reality is, it wasn’t easy. It took a lot of courage, curiosity, and most importantly, critical thinking. And not everyone has the mental bandwidth, or even the time, to seriously challenge the belief systems they’ve been taught since birth.
It is possible, though, and that’s what I want to talk about in this episode of The Kayse Melone Show.
