In this episode I speak with Reiki Master, Certified Spiritual Director, and Founder of the nonprofit Northwest Wisdom, R. G. Shore about integrating our life experience in order to stand in higher spiritual truth. We speak about his experience of incarceration and how it has informed his spiritual development. We also explore the themes of identity, the root of all suffering, and balancing "religion and spirituality" on the journey to discovering more of what we truly are.
R.G. also shares his experience about healing racial trauma as a person of color incarcerated in an almost all-white prison in his book "The Ocean Inside Me."
