Lauren Abda - Founder and CEO of Branchfood, the largest community of food entrepreneurs and startups in New England, and Co-founder at Branch Venture Group, an angel network for investment in early-stage food startups.

Lauren has a Masters in Food Policy and Applied Nutrition from the Tufts Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Food Science from the University of Vermont.

Lauren has been very influential in our journey as a company with Waku, as Branch Venture Group was the first Angel Investment group that believed in our team and idea back in 2018 and they became investors of Waku.

In today’s episode we talk about her story on how she started BranchFood, she also shares tips how we can build a network and relationships as an introvert person and how to make hard decisions by looking at the worst case scenario face to face.
