09: "Anti-Commuter Life Incoming & Inaccessibility in University": Life & Recovery: knowing your rights as a person with physical or mental disabilities/illness in Uni (FT. racist ex-roommate trauma)
Description
So I refuse to commute one more month, never again will I be doing a 6-hour-a-day commute back and forth to uni. It messed with my grades and physical and mental health. I talk about the struggles of being a person with physical and mental disabilities while commuting such long distances, and how scary and painful it's been. Discussing accessibility rights and what we should be bringing forward to institutions who are not supporting us despite legislature clearly demonstrating they have an obligation to do so. I also talk about making tough choices within my career as an undergrad figuring things out!
