When you think of riches, what comes to mind? For Paul, here's what he thinks of as the true riches for every believer:
God the Father has
1. Blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places
2. Chosen us in Christ before the foundation of the world
3. Made us to be holy ones, blameless before him
4. Adopted us as sons and daughters through Jesus Christ
5. Redeemed us through his blood
6. Forgiven our trespasses according to the riches of his grace which he has lavished upon us
7. Revealed the mystery of his will to us will according to his purpose which he set forth in Christ
8. Given us access to a heavenly inheritance
9. Sealed us in the Holy Spirit
