In 2011 my close friend and collaborator Danilo Alvarez was on vacation with his ex-girlfriend Geraldine in Cali, Colombia. One night on their Colombian vacation the couple ignored an ominous warning from a family member about venturing late at night into the city due to the number of kidnappings in the area. In his own words, Danilo tells us how his background in the world of advertising actually saved his life so he could live to tell the tale.
