When you’ve been hurt by someone, especially when they purposefully caused you harm, forgiveness can be really hard. It’s your right to be angry. They deserve to suffer in proportion to the suffering they caused you. That may be, but God calls you to something better. He calls you to forgiveness and restoration. Jesus demonstrated the humility you’ll need when He died on the cross, and as Pastor Michael will remind us in today’s message, that sacrificial love should characterize our lives as believers.
