In this first episode we talk with one of the true pioneers in stand up paddling, Charlie Macarthur. Charlie, AKA, C-Mac is the owner of Aspen Kayak and SUP School in Aspen, Colorado. In this interview he talks about first being introduced to paddleboarding in 1973 in Hawaii. He talks about his own personal progression with SUP and as an instructor trainer with the ACA (American Canoe Association) he talks about larger trends in the sport. C-Mac also talks about his training regime that has kept him being competitive in races well into his 50's.
