Coates is a racist ideologue who happens to be on the right side of the argument. Like how white-nationalists are actually really good on US foreign policy, but for their own reasons. "I have a very strong moral compass and it comes from my ancestry" is a racist statement and it's not an argument, but the CBS guy is absolutely wrong that individual Palestinians have any agency in Unfortunately people can't parse these concepts out and we throw out the whole argument because of the person.
