Moira Deeming MLC is a former teacher and current MP in the Victorian parliament. Earlier this year, she was expelled from the Liberal Party.
The reason? A women’s rights event she spoke at was hijacked by men in black performing Nazi-style salutes, who had no connection with Moira.
Inexplicably, the media and others condemned her and the event, the theme of which was “Let Women Speak.”
On this episode of BASED, Moira and I discuss her origins in the political left, her experiences in the education system, and her career in politics so far.
