Group work fosters collaboration, interpersonal skills, and efficiency, and it often mimics scenarios we would expect students to see in their careers. But it can be a huge pain in the *** to navigate for teacher and student alike, and it can sour parties to future group work. So why do we make them do this to begin with? What is the most effective approach to teamwork? How can we do better to make team experiences productive and constructive? Pair up! It's time to form teams.
