Luke Minor is the WA529 Senior Director and provides an excellent overview of this important program that builds the foundation for our youth to plan for and more into higher education, whether it's university, college, or the trades. Kids who know there's a plan for them to get further education are more likely to pursue it. WA529 still has the original GET program, prepaid tuition. There is also WA529 Invest for people who like to plan their own investments. This program is open year round, while GET enrollment just opened, running now through May 2026. This is a good time to let family and friends know that you have an account for your kids, because others may want to gift the kids in this way.
