Surveillance capitalism exploits our subconscious desires, using algorithms to target our fears and insecurities, while the "Myth of More" and the "Hedonic Treadmill" perpetuate a cycle of dissatisfaction and constant yearning for more. Teachings in Ecclesiastes and Luke warn that greed leads to spiritual emptiness and ultimately dissatisfaction. The antidote to greed is contentment, generosity, and living within one's means, with a focus on honoring God rather than accumulating wealth.
