Abi Brooker is a senior lecturer of psychology at the University of Melbourne. Her research interests include exploring the experiences of wellbeing and distress at university and during times of transition. She was a Research Fellow at the Melbourne Centre for the Study of Higher Education, where she project managed a seminal work that identified ways teaching practices and curriculum design could promote students' psychological wellbeing. The project culminated in a vast online resource for educators found at http://unistudentwellbeing.edu.au.
