Description

There's a sneaky, insidious thing that has a life of its own, It is called podfading and it sounds exactly like it is. It means, your podcast goes away. It fades away. You stop doing it.

In this episode, we are diving head-on into this danger that most new podcasters go through, and I am going to provide my magical solution that will change the way you look at podcasting.

Dancing with the podfade monster is the thing that is stopping you in your tracks. It’s telling you it’s not working, no one is listening, and all of this is based on non-factual evidence. You may also be thinking, “but I thought a podcast means I get instant listeners, WTF?”

Super, super sneaky, and usually this happens right at the beginning of your podcasting life. About 3 months in, or around 10 or 20 episodes in.  Then, you stop BEFORE you ever gave your podcast a chance.  Investment of time and money down the drain.

You skip a week, or you scramble to record in that week. Then, you get back on track the following week, but you're scrambling because you got something going on, or you're traveling, or there's an emergency with a kid.

I work with clients who decided ahead of time that they are in it for the process not the outcome because the outcome can’t be predicted. If you want that kind of support, I can help. Click here to set up a call.

When the pod honeymoon is over, they just keep going. They get that creating a successful podcast takes a TONS of time.

That’s what we’re talking about in this episode so you can develop the mindset to commit and keep going no matter what.
