In this Tatayhood episode, we talk about the heartbreaking incident of “Mak-mak,” a person with autism who was mauled inside an EDSA Carousel bus in Makati last June 9, 2025. Viral video showed several individuals punching and kicking the helpless PWD while the bus staff failed to intervene. The DOTr responded by suspending the driver and conductor for 90 days and grounding 10 units of the bus company. Authorities continue to search for the suspects.
