6 ways to make your business stand out from the crowd - Episode 13

Making your service company stand out in what you may think is a crowded room really isn't all that difficult.

We're going to explore 6 key ways to make this happen for you and your business.

#1 - Processes - make sure you use online programs to streamline your work and be most productive both in the office and in the field. I highly recommend Quickbooks Online, Housecall Pro, Dropbox just to get started.

#2 - Workplace culture - Put your focus on your team, not your customers. Happy teams take care of and make happy customers. Trust them to do the right thing and give them the autonomy to make decisions.

#3- Branding - this is much more than your logo! Branding is how your company feels and who you are! It's your story. Be genuine and unique.

#4 Marketing - Look for untapped opportunities to put your marketing dollars. Make sure your advertisements are genuine and not stock photos. Make your company feel like the family it is. Customers buy from people, not companies.  Be consistent on social media. Look alive!

#5 Stop Fearing your Competition - Competing businesses should inspire you, not scare you. Talk with them, refer work to each other, be and do better than them. A price is just a number, be the most value for the dollar that your customer spends.

#6 - Invest in yourself with a business coach or mentor - FInd someone who will hold you accountable for achieving your biggest goals and dreams with your business. Find someone who will give you support and help when you need it and someone who will inspire you. A business coach is the best way to ensure that you get out of your own way!
