Crystal Corbin, fitness coordinator for the Virginia Tillett Center in Manteo, talks about a fun event for people of all ages – the 9th Annual Dare to Scare 5k & Sweet Treat Fun Run. Scheduled for Saturday, October 25, the race begins at the Coastal Studies Institute on Highway 345 in Wanchese and ends at the Virginia Tillett Center in Manteo. All proceeds benefit the Virginia Tillett Center's Christmas Program and GO FAR (Go Out For A Run).
