Welcome back to The Needle and Groove Lounge. We have a special show this week as we dive into another record label exploration. This week the lounge pays respect the independent record label Fat Possum Records from Oxford, Mississippi. Fat Possum got its start recognizing the artist of the  North Mississippi Region, known as the hill country. Hence their early releases focused on highlighting the hill country blues of this region. Now days the label has expanded to include other styles of music. During the Last Call segment it stays relatively chill but that doesn't mean there is not plenty of banter.
