Alejandra Muñoz is passionate about facilitating students’ postsecondary journeys so that they may meet their educational goals and be in a career where they find meaning and purpose.
She has worked in education since 2009 and has served in various roles, which include teaching at
the high school level, working in undergraduate education, academic advising, first year programs, institutional diversity, early college initiatives, as well as recruitment and retention
efforts for first-generation college students. Her research focuses on how the social context in
the college experience impacts the way undocumented students make meaning of their identity.
