Being offended - it happens everywhere, to everyone and can often be the main focus of our attention, so much so that we usually want to share it with others. Maybe even place it on others. Offense takes our energy away from God and places it on hurt and pain. It restricts us and hinders our relationships with others and even with God Himself. In fact, offense is the exact opposite of the very thing that God promises us - forgiveness.
