Description

A dysregulated brain can manifest in either understimulation or overstimulation. In an under-stimulated brain, issues like difficulty focusing, learning challenges, withdrawal, and tearfulness may arise. On the other hand, an overstimulated brain tends to exhibit pronounced reactions, intense emotions, anger, and irritation.

In today’s episode, we focus on the intricate relationship between neurodivergence and self-regulation as it is crucial to recognize the interconnectedness of self-regulation challenges, or dysregulation, in conditions such as autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and other various mental health issues.
