Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh. Hello everyone! welcome back to my journal podcast, I am Novi Rahmawati.

This is my journal 16th, in this journal I have read a children book and watched cartoon movie. The title of the children book that I have read is “The Envious Neighbor”. This story tells about, There is an old husband and wife named Richard and Marie, they both do not have a child, so they raise a dog named Romeo. One day when Romeo was walking, suddenly Romeo dug the ground in the yard and found a treasure of gold coins. Then, Richard's neighbor named Ruso gets jealous and Ruso intends to kidnap Romeo to find more treasure in Ruso's yard. Suddenly when Ruso wanted to take Romeo for a walk, Romeo spoke to Ruso. Ruso was surprised and thinks Romeo is a magic dog. After that incident, Ruso immediately told Shiro the village head, that the old couple Richard and Marie were witches because their pet dog could talk. But Shiro didn't believe that because dog could talk was impossible. Finally, Ruso was told to leave the village by the village head because he was caught stealing a dog and lying. From the children book I got some new vocabularies such as, spoilt (dimanja), struck (dihantam), and begged (memohon).

Then I also have watched a cartoon movie in title “Burn Out”. The cartoon movie tells about there is a space machine that crash and land in the desert. Then when the driver was getting desperate, she suddenly met a little girl and followed the little girl into the cave. In the cave she finds Kristen's battery and she takes it to be installed in her space machine. It turned out that the battery was working and the space engine was able to come back to work. Finally she can return to her home planet with the little girl she met earlier. Then on the cartoon movie, I also got some new vocabularies such as, filthiest (paling kotor), spacesuit (pakaian luar angkasa), and antennas (antena-antena).

My experience after practicing the new vocabularies in my daily life, I’m very excited and feel happy because I can learn how to pronounce correctly, and it makes my vocabularies more varied when I speaking. After I practice the vocabularies that I found, I can know better what the story telling about.
