Yawo is originally from Togo and went to the African Leadership Academy (ALA) in South Africa for his preuniversity studies. After graduating from ALA, he went to the University of Rochester in the United States, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Cybersecurity.
