Description

Today we have Dr. Vani Marshall back on the podcast! As most of you know, Dr Marshall is a cognitive therapist with a Doctorate in Counselling and a Masters in Psychology. She is also an Evangelist and Missionary with a passion to help people.

Dr Marshall and I planned to do a Q and A of a number of questions from the audience for this episode but when she began unpacking her thoughts around avoiding burnout, we decided to narrow the focus of our discussion today instead of answering the other questions which we hope to get to in the future.

In this episode, Dr Marshall talks about the need for rest and setting boundaries to prevent burnout. She provides practical advice for avoiding burnout while highlighting the importance of taking care of your spiritual, physical and mental health. We also discuss the effect this can have on the family and much more.
