185. Lyvette cried “No more!”
Description
In honour of International Women's Day - March 8th 2021.
Mayor of Bell Gardens California, Daniel Crespo Snr abused his wife Lyvette for 28 years. He also threatened those he worked with in the council and had a secretary fired for not sleeping with him.
On September 30th, 2014, while beating Lyvette, he turned his violent rage toward their teenage son when he tried to intervene. Crespo punched his son in the face so hard he fell down the stairs. What happened next was an unusual ending to a horribly common situation.
TCNT: Doug Coster wrote to us about the Investigation Discovery Channel show Dead North.
Aussie As: A pair of drunk knuckleheads rob a Northern Territory store of two VB six packs.
