The Star Wars Collectors Archive changed the collecting world forever.

The essential website, created by Gus Lopez in 1994, showcased the prototypes and production pieces from the Kenner Star Wars toy line, as well as memorabilia from the global release of the original trilogy.

But more importantly, its contributors and authors helped to inform and educate collectors on the significance of each treasured item, the pre-production process of a collectible, and the histories of many different areas of the hobby.
