Maundy Thursday commemorates the Last Supper, a key event in the life of Jesus recorded in all of the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John). The core scriptures focuses on Jesus' acts of service and humility during the Last Supper, particularly the foot washing event, and his commandment to love one another.
