The 2006 Carolina Hurricanes, led by captain Rod BrindAmour, made history by winning the Stanley Cup, sparking hockeys growth in the Triangle area. Many players and coaches from that team have since moved on, but their impact endures. Glen Wesley, Aaron Ward, Bret Hedican, and others continued their hockey careers or transitioned into broadcasting and player development. Matt Cullen, Justin Williams, Eric Staal, and Kevyn Adams also pursued successful careers. The teams legacy lives on as these champions coach, mentor, and contribute to hockey worldwide.
