This year over 450 students met at UCL for two days of debate on the theme of Power and Politics in Global Health. The conference included presentations from Clare Short MP (Former Minister for International Development), Elizabeth Pisani (Author, 'The Wisdom of Whores'), Professor Nancy Scheper-Hughes (University of California, Berkeley), Dr Richard Horton (Editor, The Lancet), Martin Wolf (Editor, Financial Times), several leading UCL academics and many others.
