Marvel, Herd Immunity, and Gender in Comics

[00:00:00 ] Welcome to the happy little screams podcast. Seasoned two Speakingof Evil Dead 2. Uh, I believe, and I, and I didn't read this well, I didn't read these specific words, but I read something that made me think this, I think Sam Raimi is the director for a Spiderman. No way home. Yeah, he is. Yeah, fucking amen.

That's going to be amazing. Have you seen the grade? Have you seen the previous port? I've seen a lot of stuff on it. Did you see this? The, the CGI altered this last video? [00:01:00 ] No. So when it came out, my Twitter lit up and people were showing videos of there's a scene in the trailer where Spiderman's flying for him from one side and the sinister five or six is flying in from the other side.

Right. Lizard is looking not at Spider-Man, but at somewhere completely different. And then out of nowhere, his head twists back around, like he just got punched. So they said that at the last moment, Sony forced them to edit out Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield, because there's actually two more Spiderman in that scene.

And probably another, maybe another sinister six character that they're not talking about yet. Well, there's definitely six, uh, six characters in there for the sinister six. Um, Tom Hardy is definitely in there for venom. You think? So a hundred percent the, uh, the second, uh, venom to the final scene of venom to they actually cross into the Marvel universe.[00:02:00 ]

Yeah, that's there. Um, it's, it's amazing too, because it goes right into the Marvel venom and not the Sony venom. It was fucking awesome. Venom pops out. We know you and then licks the screen when he sees a, um, Spiderman and it's going to be fucking bomb, but, um, they have, they have Sean, uh, three different spider mans in the trailer.

Now they've got the iron spider, they've got the, the, uh, Tom Holland spider, and then they've got the, uh, I don't the, um, I don't know what it was called, but he basically, he wore a silver and black armor and it was, it was when he was fighting the shocker. I remember that one. Yeah. I don't know if they did cause I'd never saw the, uh, Andrew Garfield.

Spider-Man I don't know if they used that outfit in there, but in the comic book they did. Huh? So, yeah, there's a, there's a lot of scenes in the trailer where people are like, they haven't shown all the characters and they edited them out and people were [00:03:00 ] making fun of like how goofy it looks when you look back at it in slow motion.

Right. But, uh, I'm, I'm, I'm stoked about this. Cause they've been talking about doing a sinister six thing for a long time and they just never got to it because after every three movies, they would just kill off the. The current Spiderman redo the entire thing, start from the beginning. And now this gives them a way to do it.

Can you imagine if they bring back the green goblin as William Defoe? Ah, that'd be awesome. Cause they brought back. DACA is dot cock, which is weird too, because he dies in Spiderman two. Yeah
