2022 F1 Brazilian GP and Sprint Review
Description
Brazil was the host to Formula One this past weekend and the racing action did not disappoint! The was the first race weekend in a while that featured the sprint race format, shifting the qualifying to Friday after free practice 1. Rain falling from the skies gave the drivers tricky conditions as they tried to figure out which tire would suit the drying track more. By the end of qualifying, Kevin Magnussen would shock the F1 world and take his first ever pole position, along with the first ever pole for Haas.
The sprint race would not provide such luck to the Haas team as Kevin fell back, but George Russell would take the sprint race win. This led to a lot of excitement heading into the race on Sunday for Mercedes fans as Lewis Hamilton and George Russel would lead the field to the green. The racing action on Sunday was jammed packed, giving fans all they could want. End the end, it was George Russell picking up his first ever win in Formula One.
