Salt is a preserving agent, keeping the church, the culture, the home, from turning rancid.
But the salty must remain salty! Responding to an altar call is only good if faith endures, a true conversion. Otherwise, we'll be trampled underfoot like the Israelites who didn't follow Jesus in 70 AD... the same sin they succumbed to is alive and well today.
