G1 James refers to the “royal law” found in Scripture: "Love your neighbour as yourself." Why does he call this the "royal" law? How does this command challenge us in the way we treat others, especially those who might be considered "lesser" by society?

G2 What does James mean when he says that breaking even one part of the law makes someone guilty of all of it? How does understanding the seriousness of this statement influence the way we approach our treatment of others?
