In our first pod in a while, we do a comprehensive recap of the Masters 1000 tournaments in Madrid and Rome. We talk about a multitude of topics including Alcaraz's win vs. Sinner in the Rome final, possible threats to Sinner and Alcaraz at Roland Garros, Draper and Musetti's rise, Zverev's relative struggles, Cerundolo's improvements, and much more. We then do our clay court power rankings (which will be posted on X before the French Open). We also discuss how our rankings differ when talking best of 3 tennis vs. best of 5 tennis. We end the podcast with some Geneva and Hamburg 2nd round plays in which we have FIVE GBM official plays and TWO popcorn tennis plays (which is a lot).
