Blues artists are struggling mightily to stay afloat during this pandemic. Times like these often bring out the best in people and this is no exception. Today, there are several artist driven fundraising efforts which are providing critical funding to fellow musicians - money to help pay mortgages, medical bills, food - critical funding to help these artists bridge the gap to the day when they can tour once again. On today's show we shine a spotlight on Fueling Musicians, a 501C3 organization founded by Joe Bonamassa which has raised over $250,000 for the cause. We also spotlight new and emerging artists, a group that has been particularly hard hit. Setlist includes; Shemika Copeland, The Bluesbones, Elles Bailey, Jontavious Willis, Johnny Winter, Altered Five Blues Band, Damon Fowler, Sugaray Rayford, Seasick Steve, Southern Avenue.
