Description

It was the first snow during the winter of 1957, and as a special treat 7-year-old Maria Ridulph and her best friend Kathy were given permission to play in the snow after dinner. But Maria never came home that night. And despite one of the most intensive missing persons searches in Illinois history, decades went by before a suspect was finally brought to trial.
