Join me as I take yet another dive under the sea discussing the live-action 2023 remake of The Little Mermaid! Joined again by Ric (who will be my permanent co-host from here on out!), we discuss what about this remake works for us and what maybe doesn't work as well, what we think of the new songs, our thoughts about the cast (we seem to be in agreement that Melissa McCarthy is one of the best parts of the movie), and so much more! How does this movie stack up against some of the other live-action adaptations that we have gotten over the last several years such as Beauty and the Beast (2017), Aladdin (2019), The Lion King (2019), etc., and how does it stack up against the original animated film from 1989?
