In this week’s Big BOAT Interview, celebrated underwater photographer Laurent Ballesta talks to BOAT’s content director Lucy Dunn about his mission to unlock the mysteries of the ocean; taking the first photo of a coelacanth, a prehistoric fish that hides away in the world’s deepest underwater caves few humans can reach - and also about DONIA, his clever but simple-to-use app which helps captains and boat owners negotiate the fragile and endangered Posidonia seagrass meadows off the South of France.
