25 Road Traffic Collisions On Clare M18/N18 In Last Two Months

Description
Transport Infrastructure Ireland recorded 25 road traffic collisions on the Clare stretch of the M18/N18 motorway between September and October. TII has commenced an investigation into the cause of the incidents and has stated that the 16 crashes recorded in September alone is "far above the monthly average" for the route. A Clare TD, meanwhile, is set to meet with Clare Chief Superintendent Aileen Magner to request a greater Garda presence on the network. Meelick Fianna Fáil Deputy Cathal Crowe says it's a miracle no lives were lost.
