A struggling Mexican writer with big dreams and darker secrets, Calva Zepeda’s world unraveled in 2007 when police entered his apartment and made a horrific discovery: the dismembered remains of his girlfriend… and chilling signs that parts of her body may have been cooked.

It’s a case tangled in trauma, obsession, and a façade of artistic ambition.
