when you’re insecure, you are constantly trying to secure things to make yourself feel secure. this can be money, relationships, men, clothes, materialistic possessions, whatever it is, just so you can feel secure within yourself. you also become emotional at things that you should be neutral for. you attach your own insecure meanings to it when it’s really not a big deal.
