The battle for middle earth continues with Embracer Group and their recent offer to acquire Middle-Earth enterprise. With this agreement, the Swedish video game company acquire the IP Rights to not only LOTR and The Hobbit Literary Works by J.R.R Tolkien but their entire catalogue and worldwide rights to motion pictures, video games, board games, merch, theme parks and stage productions as well as matching rights in other Middle-earth-related literary works authorized by the Tolkien Estate and HarperCollins.
